It’s already mid-January, so I’ve put together my “2025 To-Do List.” I changed jobs at the end of last year and will be starting at a new company in February. I’ve switched jobs a few times before, but this time, my family is genuinely excited and happy for me. Their support means so much to me, and it’s made me want to focus on spending more quality time with them.

Looking back on last year, I often put work first, which meant I ended up pushing personal enjoyment and self-growth to the side. Some of that was unavoidable, but I couldn’t help feeling like I might have been missing out on something important. Then, someone suggested that “making a list can help you use your time more effectively,” and I decided to give it a shot as a fresh start.

When I started working on my list, I wondered whether I should include family activities. But since what my family wants to do can change based on the situation or mood, I decided to leave those off and focus instead on what I personally want to do in my private life. In the end, I think this choice naturally ties back to my core value of prioritizing quality time with my family.

I also made it a point not to include anything on the list that I don’t really want to do but feel like I should. Instead, I carefully chose things I genuinely want to do but have been putting off for one reason or another.
